Starting 2013 With a New “Version” of YOU!

Posted on: November 27th, 2012 by Deborah Plouffe No Comments

What’s the best thing that you’ve done for YOUR business in 2012?

One of the greatest achievements for rewriter.ca this past year has been the launch of our BIO-Writer service. We’ve written a whole bunch of professional BIOs and gotten to know some pretty interesting people in the process!

If you haven’t ordered your BIO yet, there’s still time to have a professional BIO in your hands before the end of the year! If that’s not incentive enough, we’re also offering a few little gifts to our new BIO-Writer clients up to the end of 2012.

Read all about it HERE!

We’re also working on offering a new article writing service that will not only provide you with expertly written (or rewritten, if you prefer) articles to use and repurpose in one of our Lucky 13 ways. We can also submit them to articles databases across the Internet! This will be a service that ANY business owner or organization can use!

Don’t forget to remind your associates about our FIRST JOB FREE promotion…or use it yourself if you haven’t already!

(As published in the March 2012 issue of Rewriter.ca Timed Write newsletter)

It’s Spring Break season in Ontario, although there sure aren’t many signs of spring in this part of the world YET, so we’re publishing a little early this month.

We are SO pleased with the response to our new BIO-Writer service (I have FIVE sitting on my desk to work on today as I’m writing this!). Thanks to everyone who has helped to spread the word to their friends and associates. We have an article up on the website that will give you some insight into the importance of having a professionally written BIO, whether you plan to have one written or plan to write one yourself.

You can access a .pdf copy of the article HERE.

Can you believe that the month of January 2012 is almost behind us?

How are those resolutions holding up?

Have you set some concrete goals for 2012?

Let me share two of mine that I’ve set for completion this quarter.

The first was to reformat and revitalize the Timed Write newsletter. Based in part on your feedback, we’ve adjusted a few features and added a few more to give YOU a better “read.”

The second was to market a fairly new service on rewriter.ca: the BIO-Writer. Too few of us have a professionally written bio in formats that we can use anywhere. After all, a business biography may well be the most important piece of correspondence that you EVER write for your business.

I’ve written an article on writing professional biographies which will give you some insight into this important facet of your business, whether you plan to have one written or you plan to write one yourself.

You can access a .pdf copy of the article HERE.

(as published in the May 2011 Timed Write Newsletter for rewriter.ca)

Do YOU have a professionally written biography?

You might ask yourself when you’d ever use something like this, but a written “bio” can be a very useful tool for use in:

•    Press releases
•    Speaking engagments
•    Promotional events (as a handout)
•    Media interviews
•    Publishing articles
•    Online directories and other sites
•    Your own website

Consider all the things that a professionally written biography can do for you. It can help to build your credibility by establishing you as an industry authority.  As you professionally present your skills, this helps to differentiate you from the competition. A written “bio” can also be an excellent marketing tool because it represents you favourably to your target market and educates prospects about you and your company.

Every business owner needs a professionally written BIO to use in their business correspondence.
